Care Instructions for Artwork & Additional Shop Notes
Epoxy Resin is UV sensitive, however the appropriate UV blockers are used in the resin I make my pieces with but they may yellow over time with exposure to sunlight. Keep all pieces out of direct sunlight. Epoxy Resin can be marked or scratched easily so avoid using any abrasive or chemical cleaners. Gently clean with a soft cloth and window cleaner. Use a non-residue compressed air cleaner or a microfiber duster for areas with texture and crystals.
Some pieces use real crystals and real glass pieces and are very sharp. Use appropriate gloves when unpacking and handling. Hang all pieces with appropriate hardware for the weight of your particular piece and properly secure. Artwork does not come with hanging hardware. This is done so you can choose how to hang your pieces to fit in your individual space. Please reach out if you would like to include hanging hardware for a small additional fee. Geode Dreamer LLC is not liable for any damage or injury related to the artwork or incorrect hanging.
Each piece is created by hand in my home art studio and may have small imperfections on the surface of the resin such as bubbles, ripples or fine particles that may have cured with the resin during the 48 hr drying stage. All precautions such as covering the piece during this stage are taken but it does happen and in no way affects the beauty of the piece. If you have questions or would like photos or video of a particular piece, please contact me. Each pre-made art piece will ship within 5-7 business days depending on the item. Custom pieces will take a minimum of 2 weeks to create plus the additional shipping time.
